É«ÖÐÉ«, in collaboration with BOCES, the Big 5 school districts, and the small city school districts, hosted a statewide numeracy conference on May 13, 2025.ÌýDuring the conference, É«ÖÐÉ« was pleased to release a series of eight numeracy briefs that highlight the evidence-based features and best practices of effective mathematics instruction. These briefs were produced for É«ÖÐÉ« by Dr. Deborah Loewenberg Ball, Professor of Education at the University of Michigan, and TeachingWorks, a project at the University of Michigan. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the eight numeracy briefs with the É«ÖÐÉ« team and keynote speaker Dr. Loewenberg Ball.
